Recommended Tire Chains that Fit 275/65/20 Tires and 295/65/20 Tires
Question:
Hello, I am looking to buy tire chains for 2 different trucks. 2015 F350 Super Duty with 275/65/20 tires and a 2020 F350 Super Duty with 295/65/20 tires. The use is primarily icy or moderate snow conditions on unpaved mountain roads. These are only to be used occasionally but I would like them to be as easy to install as possible. What would you recommend? Thanks

There isn't one set that will fit both your 275/65/20 tires and 295/65/20 tires so I have recommended two sets below:
For your 2015 Ford F-350 with 275/65/20 tires, I recommend the Titan Chain Snow Tire Chains for Wide Base Tires item # TC3831. These chains have v-bar links which will give superior traction in deep snow and ice. The V-bars are really what make this set stand out. They have small studs that will dig into the ice for the best traction. They are designed for both on road and off road use.
These chains do not come with built in cam tighteners so it is recommend to use the Titan Chain Multi-Arm Rubber Tire Chain Adjuster item # TCMA2 to ensure the tightest possible fit.
For your 2020 F350 Super Duty with 295/65/20 tires, the best we have available are the pewag Tire Chains w/ Cams - Ladder Pattern item # PWE2226SC. There are not many options available for this size of tire. These work great in snow and ice due to their grooved square link design. They have the integrated cam tighteners so there is no need for the rubber tensioners. These are not designed for off-road use so they will not function as well as the item # TC3831, I recommended for your other truck.
These are both standard drape over tire chains so they are pretty easy to install.
