How High Does The B&W Companion OEM 5th Wheel Hitch Sit Above The Bed

Question:

I will need to remove my existing plastic bed liner to install a factory puck system. Im looking at Dualliner as a replacement. I understand that I will have to cut around the holes for the companion OEM hitch to fit but would also like to know if the hitch sits flush with bed I dont believe it does and how much room there is between the bed and the hitch. The liner Im looking at is 3/8 thick

The B&W Companion OEM 5th Wheel Trailer Hitch w/ Slider for Ram Towing Prep Package # BWRVK3670 should sit above the bed by roughly 1/2" but it also depends on the how high the pucks sit. We've had a ton of different vehicles in the shop where the puck system isn't always welded into place at the factory as it should have been and it can sit a bit lower or higher. I've attached a picture below that will give you a better idea of the clearance you'll have for the bed liner.
