Is Roadactive Suspension System for 2023 Ford F-150 Best Suspension Enhancement Kit
Question:
I just ordered Sumo springs for a new 2023 F-150 because I’ve used them in the past with very good results. I tow a 10500#, 30’ Arctic Fox TT about 30k a year. The hitch weight is 850# and I use an equalizer WD hitch. I also carry about 500# payload regularly. When I hooked up the trailer there was 2.5” of sag at the wheel well without distribution. Since ordering the 1500# black SSO, I came across the Roadactive kit and am now wondering if that would be a better fit for my use. Thanks.

The Roadactive kits like the part # RAS3611-YHD that fits your 2023 Ford F-150 are my favorite to recommend for basically anyone who needs additional suspension support so yes I would recommend them for you. Unlike all other options this gives you adjustable suspension support, is easy to install, but what it does that is really nice is that it actually improves ride quality and handling loaded and unloaded.
Since you are using a WD system as well I would recommend dialing in the RAS kit first and then setting up the spring bar tension again with the new suspension support.
