What Holes Need To Be Widened To Install The etrailer Trailer Hitch Receiver on a Pacifica Hybrid?
Question:
Why fo the holes on the hybrid need widening? I did not and it seems to fit, but the emissions box is not fitting well. Is that why? Which way do the holes get widened? The instructions are not clear.

For installing the etrailer Trailer Hitch Receiver # e98903 the holes that may need enlarged are where you insert square hole spacers with the carriage bolts. It sounds like you did not have this issue on your particular vehicle. We do make mention of the hole enlargement for the emissions canister in step 5 and 6 which will need to take place only on the drivers side attachment holes. You can also watch the installation video which I linked at the bottom of the page near the installation instructions where you can see how our installer modified the canister since it sounds like you already have the receiver installed.
