Replacement Trailer 4-Way Connector That Sends Power to Both Tail Lights
Question:
I had a rear harnesses connector get damaged on my utility trailer. It’s the square 4-way connector that splits and sends power to both taillights. Is this something you can help me with.

We have exactly what you're looking for! Here are the parts you'll need to replace the 4-Way flat connector on your trailer:
- Hopkins Endurance Easy-Pull Harness # HM48114
- Deka Heat Shrink Butt Connectors # DW05744-5
You'll need to cut off your current 4-Way and then splice in this plug and lead using the Heat Shrink Butt Connectors to get everything wired up correctly and with protection. You'll need to connect both tail light withes to the brown wire on this connector. I really like the Easy-Pull harness because it makes disconnecting your trailer wiring much easier than with a standard 4-Way flat plug.
I also recommend checking out the Bauer Products 4-Way Trailer Plug Holder # BA69VR which you can install pretty much anywhere on your trailer, and it provides a nice and easy way to keep your trailer plug up and offf the ground.
