Disc Brake Conversion Kit and Electric Over Hydraulic Actuator Recommendation
Question:
I have a Gobi overland trailer with 5 on 4 1/2 drums, I would like to refit with disc brakes and hydraulic over electric actuator. I also have the Redarc pro trailer brake in my vehicle. what all do I need/recommend? Thanks,

For your Gobi overland trailer you can use the Kodiak Disc Brake Kit # K2HR35D to convert your brakes to disc. This kit will work with 3,500 lb axles, has a 5 on 4 1/2 bolt pattern, and will work with wheels 13" or larger.
It's important to note as well that this kit is designed to be used with #84 spindles, so you'll want to make sure the spindle on your trailer will work with the bearings # BK2-100 used in the kit.
For an electric over hydraulic actuator I recommend going with the Hydrastar Electric-Hydraulic Actuator w/ Line Kit for Disc Brakes # CAR-HBA16-2. This actuator has a maximum output pressure of 1,600 PSI, has a built-in bleeder, and will work great with your Redarc TBC.
