What is the Best Gooseneck Hitch for a 2024 GMC Sierra 2500 w/out the Puck System?
Question:
Is there a gooseneck hitch for the new 2024 GMC Sierra 2500? I do not have the puck system and need a way to haul my horse trailer. I pick the truck up next week.

Congrats on your new truck! Yes, there is a gooseneck hitch for your 2024 GMC Sierra 2500. The best one is the B&W Turnoverball System item # BWGNRK1020. This hitch fits both the 6-3/4' and 8' bed lengths and the diesel and gas models. It installs with custom fit brackets that bolt into existing holes in your Sierra's frame. The only drilling you will need to do is in the bed when you add the holes for the receiver and the safety chains.
This underbed system has a 30,000 lbs capacity and allows you to store the 2-5/16" hitch ball upside down and inside your bed when you are not using it. This gives you full access to your bed when you're not towing. The locking handle is easily accessible inside your driver's side rear wheel well.
I have attached an installation video below to help you get the system set up.
To make towing with a 5th wheel easier, I recommend adding the Curt 5th Wheel/Gooseneck Custom Wiring Harness item # C58FV. This harness puts a 4-way and 7-way connector in the bed of your Sierra and allows you to keep the one on your bumper. This makes hooking up to your 5th wheel trailer easier and more convenient.
