Hi I have a 36’ trailer with 8k tandem axles and I’m looking for a 12” equalizer and hardware kit along with new u-bolts. Do you have a kit or do I need to purchase individually? Thanks

There isn't a complete kit, but I can go ahead and list out everything you need for a 12 inch long equalizer for 2 inch slipper springs, along with the mounting hardware and U-bolts for your 8,000 lb axles. Here is what you need for your tandem axle trailer:

- 2 of the Equalizer for 2" Wide Slipper Springs # TREQ4541

- 8 of the Spring-Eye Bolt with Locknut for Slipper Springs - 3-1/2" Long # 166079

- 2 of the Equalizer Bolt with Cotter Pin and Castle Nut - 7/8" Diameter # 166078

- 2 of the U-Bolt Kit for Mounting 8,000-lb, Round Trailer Axles - 8" Long U-Bolts # APUBR-35

Since you have a wheelbase/axle spacing of 38 inches the correct hanger kit for slipper springs would be the part #HAP-105-205-01. And then for a 7k trailer axle the u-bolt kit you'd want would be the part #APUBR-8. I attached the diagram to use…

In order to determine the torque rating for the lug nuts on your trailer you will need to know check out the chart I attached that shows all of the torque specs for all the trailer lugs available based on stud size, wheel material and wheel size.
