What Parts Are Needed to Install the Tekonsha Prodigy P2 Brake Controller on a 2014 Dodge Durango
Question:
I have a 2014 Dodge Durango with the V8 and tow package. What will I need to install the Prodigy P2 brake controller?

Expert Reply:
Since your 2014 Dodge Durango came with the factory tow package, the only parts you will need to install the Prodigy P2 Brake Controller, # 90885, are the brake controller and the Custom Wiring Adapter, # TK93VR.
Your Durango should have a factory brake controller port behind the trim panel underneath the dash on the drivers side. You should see a rectangular gray plug (see photo) to the left of the steering column taped to another harness near the brake pedal.
If you plug in the brake controller and there is no power, be sure to check for a blown or missing fuse in the fuse box for the brake controller. The fuse location can be found in the owners manual or on the fuse box legend.
