Will Lift Spacers Be Required When Installing Air Lift Helper Springs on 2021 Ram 1500 With 1 Lift?

Question:

Im looking to get the 88375 air lift system. Im putting a 3.5 lift on the truck. They state the lift in the rear is 1. If my reading is correct,do wont need a spacer in the rear to make this work. I wanted to verify this. Thank you for your time.

In my experience with the truck only receiving a 1" lift in the back you should not need a riser. The 1" lift is often achieved with a type of spacer and since the factory springs will settle over time this usually results in less than a 1" rear lift from the stock height when new. It is always a good idea to measure the height where the air springs will sit before hand to verify you will not have any issues when you install the Air Lift LoadLifter 5000 Ultimate Air Springs # AL88375 on your 2021 Ram 1500. The springs included with this kit have a design height of 6" so with the upper and lower mounts sitting on your truck you will want to see less than 7" between the mounts at ride height when unloaded. If you have more than 7" you will want to use a 2" Spacer # AL52420 to ensure you do not overstretch the air spring.

I recommend using the Air Lift WirelessAIR Compressor System # AL58WQ to control the air pressure in your springs. This is my favorite compressor system since it has a smart manifold which will monitor air pressure in each spring while you drive and makes necessary adjustments when the air pressure changes by more than 3psi.
