Is A Stop Light Switch Kit Needed For A Brake Controller In A 2020 Jeep Wrangler JL Unlimited
Question:
On the 2020 Jeep jl do I need to use a stoplight switch when installing the trailer brake controller? I see there is one video where a RM-751490 was used and another where the 3rd brake light was tapped into. Thanks!

The brake light switch wire isn't useable on the 2020 Jeep Wrangler so you will need the Stop Light Switch Kit # RM-751490 in order to get the brake signal for the brake controller to activate the brakes on the trailer.
