Can A 2019 Ford Ranger Tow A Lance 1995 Travel Trailer
Question:
We are checking out the Lance 1995. Would a ford Ranger tremor/lariat with a towing capacity of 7500 be sufficed to tow this lance?

The only way to determine your vehicle's towing capacity is to either reach out to the dealer with the VIN or to subtract your vehicle's subtract your truck's curb weight (along with anything else you'd load into it) from its Gross Combined Vehicle Weight Rating (GCVWR). The GCVWR can be found in your owner's manual or typically on the door jamb or in the glove box.
Once you know what the vehicle can tow you can then look at the Gross Vehicle Weight Rating (GVWR) of the trailer and see if this number falls below the trucks towing capacity. From what I can see the Lance 1995 has a 7,000lb GVWR so your towing capacity would need to exceed this number.
When towing a trailer you'll typically experience sag and sway, especially when the trailer weighs 50% or more of the truck's total weight. I recommend getting a weight distribution hitch, like the Blue Ox SwayPro # BXW0750 to help level out your Ranger and keep the trailer tracking straight behind you.
