Can Blue Ox SwayPro # BXW1000 Install on Trailer Frame with Interference Above It
Question:
The instructions state that the brackets mount approx. 29” back from the center of the ball hitch. On the trailer my wife and I are looking to purchase the rear of the propane bottle bracket is right at 29” from the ball hitch. I’m sure this has come up but what is the solution for this? Can they be moved To adjust for this?

There is a solution that will allow you to install the chain hangers of the Blue Ox weight distribution system part # BXW1000 on your trailer frame that has interference above/below where they need to install. What you'll need to do is either bolt on or weld on the brackets part # BXW4021 and you'll be set. This method allows the brackets to install without needing clearance above or below the frame.
