Recommended Power Converter Replacement for Magnetek 6332 for Lithium Batteries and Solar Set Up

Question:

I am looking to add solar to my rv roof. I currently have a series 6300A, model 6336. It works but probably inefficient and may not work with Lithium batteries and solar panels. My RV is a 1992 Coachman Clarion and you probably cant find much information on it since few were ever produced. Love the vehicle and am trying to update it. I have not purchased newer batteries, the converter, or the panels. Any recommendations would we most helpful.

You are correct the 6332 model Magnetek converter is not compatible with Lithium batteries. To upgrade to a lithium battery system you will need to replace the entire power center with the Progressive Dynamics RV Power Control Center item # PD4135K. This unit has up to 4 branch circuits and 7 DC fuse ports to handle all the electrical needs of your RV.

I have linked a help article below that will walk you through setting up a solar powered system that will suit your specific needs. I recommend taking a look at it and if you have any questions feel free to email me back with them.

For a complete solar system you can use the Go Power Solar Elite Charging System item # 34282184. This includes everything you would need except for the batteries.
