Will The 2" Hitch For 2018 Honda CR-V Allow For Installation & Removing Hands Free Lift Gate Sensor?
Question:
Hello, We have a 2018 Honda CRV Touring and don’t use the hands free feature much. Would it be OK to use an aftermarket 2” receiver hitch for a bike carrier and just not use the hands free feature avoiding the need for adaptor? Thanks

Yes, you can install the etrailer Trailer Hitch Receiver # e98848 on your 2018 Honda CR-V. While Honda does make the relocation bracket if this is a feature you do not want to have you can simply remove the sensor so you will not have to worry about it trying to operate when you do not want it to.
