Recommended Weight Distribution System for a 6,000 lbs Lance 2185 Trailer
Question:
I have a 2017 Toyota Tundra with a factory equipped tow package hitch, electric brake hookup, etc. Do I need a sway bar or a weight distribution hitch or both for a travel trailer 2015 Lance, Model 2185?

It looks like your 2015 Lance 2185 trailer weighs right at 6,000 lbs when fully loaded. Knowing this I would strongly recommend the use of weight distribution system with sway control. Weight distribution systems are selected off of tongue weight which is somewhere between 10% and 15% of your trailer's total weight. This would put your 6,000 lbs trailer's tongue weight between 600 lbs and 900 lbs.
I recommend the Equal-i-zer Weight Distribution System w/ 4-Point Sway Control item # EQ37100ET. This system has a tongue weight range of 600 lbs - 1,000 lbs which will be perfect for your Lance trailer. The built in sway control will help keep your trailer in line with your Tundra when you are going down the highway and get passed by a semi or make a sudden move. This system includes a 2" shank and a 2-5/16" hitch ball.
I have linked an installation video below so you can see how to get this system set up.
