Do You Have to Use the Monitor Included With the Furrion Vision S & TireMinder TPMS
Question:
Hello. I have questions about travel trailer backup cameras, tpms and tow mirror extensions. I have a 2022 GMC Sierra 1500 AT4 with all cameras and trailer towing monitoring as part of the infotainment center. The trailer is a 2022 Grand Design Imagine XLS 22MLE and is pre-wired for the Furrion backup camera. Do I need the external monitors that come with the Furrion and Tire Minder backup camera and TPMs systems? If not needed, is it possible to purchase them without the monitors? Also for tow mirror extensions, do the K Source Snap and Zap allow full camera view and folding? Thank you

You are still going to need the monitors that come with both the Furrion Vision S # FOS43TASF and the TireMinder i10 TPMS # TM89FR.
The pre-wire for your trailer just means the wiring for a Furrion camera system is already ran so you'd just have to plug the camera in and you'd be set.
Also, the K-Source Snap & Zap Custom Towing Mirrors # KS80930 will not interfere with the camera functionality on your mirrors because there is a cut out at the bottom of the mirrors for just this, and they will allow you to fully fold into the vehicle.
