How to Tell if 3,500 lb Hub Will Fit a 2,360 lb Axle
Question:
can i put a 3500 lb capacity hub on my tandum boat trailer. the gvwr is 2360lbs? its a 5 on 4 1/2 with a spindal axel?

Potentially - it all just depends on what bearings and seals match with your spindle.
The standard 3,500 lb hub, like part # AKIHUB-545-35-EZ-K, is going to use the following:
- Inner Bearing # L68149
- Outer Bearing # L44649
- Grease Seal # 58846 (inner diameter 1.719")
As long as this matches what you have then you'll be good to go! If you have something else just let me know and I'll be more than happy to see if we have something that matches your needs.
