Will the Roadmaster Invisi-Brake Work on a 2002 Volkswagen Jetta
Question:
Can I use this for my 2002 Jetta? If not can you recommend a braking system? I have a Falcon All Terrain tow bar and will be buying the Roadmaster 521227-3 baseplate.

The Roadmaster InvisiBrake Supplemental Braking System # RM-8700 that you referenced could certainly work in your 2002 Volkswagen Jetta. I attached an install video on a similar vehicle for you to check out as well.
It sounds like you have the big components for your flat-towing setup, but you may also be interested in a lighting solution and safety cables.
For a permanent lighting solution that would function in a similar way as the Invisi-Brake check out the Roadmaster Tail Light Wiring Kit part # RM-155. This kit installs in the taillight assemblies and will illuminate the assemblies as needed in conjunction with your tow vehicle taillights.
I attached an install video for this product for you to check out also.
For safety cables check out the Roadmaster Coiled Cables part # RM-643. Video attached as well. These will wrap around the arms of the tow bar to keep them off of the ground.
I also attached a couple helpful FAQ articles on flat-towing for you to check out.
