Can Stinger Be Replaced for Thule Range Bike Rack

Question:

Hi! I notice that you sell a Replacement 2 Shank for Thule T2 and T2 Classic. I have a Thule Range and the stinger has been damaged so it no longer accepts the Thule threaded locking pin. Which means the rack is not usable. Do you sell a replacement 2 shank for that model or know how I could get it repaired? This rack is second hand, so unfortunately Thule advised it is no longer under warranty. Thanks very much for your help!

The shank, or stinger, for the Thule Range RV Bike Rack for 4 Bikes # TH9057 is unfortunately not available so you have 3 options at this point; replace the entire bike rack, drill out the threaded portion so the locking hitch pin can slide into place and use an anti-rattle device like the etrailer # e99007, or try to tap the threaded piece inside the rack with a larger thread size and get a bolt that matches those specs.

If it were me and I was trying to save a few bucks I'd opt for the last choice. After all the warranty is already voided so if you can make it so the locking pin can fit then the anti-rattle is the other function of that pin that you'll need to account for.
