A 2014 Honda CR-V will also need fuse number 19 in the interior fuse box to be pulled in order to prevent battery drain while towing. You can physically pull the fuse or install the Roadmaster FuseMaster Fuse Bypass # RM76511 to make it as easy as pressing a button to disable/enable the fuse. If you haven't been removing the fuse this is most likely the cause of the battery drain.

To see if the battery charger is working then you'll just need to check the pin in the 1 o'clock position in the motorhome's 7-way (while it's running) to see if you're getting 12 volts. If not then your motorhome might not have a charge line in place and you would need part # RM-156-75. From there you can disconnect the charge line from the CR-V's battery and then connect to the vehicle to the motorhome and then test that end you disconnected to see if 12 volts is reaching the towed battery.

If this doesn't help let me know what you find with your setup and we can troubleshoot further.
