Are TMPS Sensors Waterproof And Rated For Boat Trailer Use

Question:

Is there a TPMS system that can be used on boat trailers? I have a dual axle trailer I would like to be able to keep an eye on the air pressure. Im concerned about submersion and tire balance.

Per TireMinder, all TireMinder systems are IPX7 compliant and can used on a boat trailer that launches into fresh or salt water without running into any issue with your transmitters. This means the TireMinder i10 TPMS for RVs and Trailers w/ Signal Booster # TM89FR you were looking at would be a compatible option. The brass sensors are made to be waterproof and dustproof to hold up to various applications and can be used on rubber (rated for 65psi or higher), steel, chrome, or nickel valve stems.

If you have a lower rated rubber valve stem then you could use a system like the TireMinder A1AS TPMS for RVs and Trailers w/ Signal Booster # TM49FR instead.
