How To Determine The Correct BTU Rating Needed To Properly Cool A 1968 Airstream Trailer
Question:
Im looking to replace my a/c on my 1968 Airstream. I think 13.5 would be sufficient. Do you have a video that does a comparison of the 13.5 units you offer? Thank you

The rule of thumb for determining the BTU rating needed to properly cool a trailer is to multiply the square footage of the trailer by 20. This would give you the minimum BTU rating needed to cool the space. If you fall under 13,500 then you can use the Furrion Chill HE RV Air Conditioner System # FR52PR. If you do need to go up to a 15,000 BTU unit then you'll want part # FR92PR instead. We don't currently have an updated video to reflect the systems that we currently offer at this time.
