Timbren Suspension System Recommendation for a 2014 GMC Sierra 1500
Question:
Im looking for something to help the rear of my 2014 GMC Sierra Double Cab SLE 4X4. I hauled one ton of pellets the other day and it was obvious right away that I either need to add the Timbren SES or Air bags. Could you please provide some feedback based on the information I have provided above? What can I expect for carrying capacity and what they are each rated for? GMRTT15S or GMRCK15S? Thanks,

The difference between the two Timbren systems you referenced is the application for each. The Timbren Rear Suspension Enhancement System - Severe Duty # TGMRTT15S is designed for service vehicles only so it would not work for you.
The # TGMRCK15S would make an excellent choice for a suspension enhancement system for your vehicle. This system has plenty of capacity for the ton of pellets you carried, and is great because when your vehicle is unloaded your ride quality will be exactly the same as stock. Another advantage is that you would not need to mess with any air lines or regulating pressure in the air bags. Once installed you basically would never have to think about it. This product has a 6,000 lb capacity.
You should note that systems like this do not increase your towing capacity, they only help vehicles carry their factory capacities in the safest way possible.
Check out the installation video I attached for the # TGMRCK15S for you to check out also.
