Will Draw-Tite Class III Hitch # 75726 Clear Full-Sized Spare Tire on 2013 Toyota Highlander
Question:
Hi I just wanted to make sure that this part will be able to be installed on a 2013 Toyota Highlander with a full size spare. And if it does not please tell me which hitch would allow this. Also what wiring kit would I need for this install. Thank you

The Draw-Tite Class III hitch you referenced, part # 75726 is indeed compatible with the 2013 Highlander equipped with a full-sized spare. To lower the spare tire, you will need to push forward as you are lowering it, so it will clear the hitch. The same procedure will apply when raising the spare. I have provided a photo showing how the hitch sits in relation to the spare tire.
To wire your Highlander with a 4-pole connector to provide lighting functions for towing a trailer, I would recommend the Tow Ready T-One Connector, part # 118449.
If you need a ball mount, the # 2923 is recommended. For a 1-7/8 inch ball, use # 19260 or # 63845 for a 2 inch ball. To secure the ball mount into the receiver, you can use a pin and clip like part # PC3 or a locking hitch pin like part # e98882.
