Hello, Is the basket on the 24x60 cargo carrier exactly 60in? Does it have to be mounted in the center of the bumper? Thanks.

The 24" x 60" measurement for the etrailer Cargo Carrier for RV Bumper # e99049 is for the inner portion of the carrier. The overall dimensions are 61-5/8" wide x 25-5/8" deep x 3-7/8" tall. you don't have to center the carrier on the bumper. A lot of people will typically have it mounted closer to one side to allow for access to a ladder or spare tire mount.
