What Size Hardware Does Draw-Tite Trailer Hitch 75155 Use?
Question:
I have to re-thread holes into my frame because rear frame got repair so the oem holes are no longer there. Do you know the size of the hardware that comes in this kit and possible a bit I can use to re-thread it

Expert Reply:
The Draw-Tite # 75155 you were looking at uses M12x1.25 bolts for the front three holes, and M8x1.25 for the hole closest to the front of the vehicle.
With that said you'll want to have a fabrication verify that the way you're installing the hitch is correct as in the OEM vehicles the frame is not threaded, but instead has nuts welded on the inside of the frame that the bolts go into. The frame is not thick enough nor strong enough to thread and install the bolts into without those nuts.
