What Will Prevent Trailer Axle Leaf Springs From Failing
Question:
Hi guys, Ive got a 2018 38 heart land torque. Double axle. Just broke a leaf spring on the way home today. It had 5 leafs but we are upgrading to 6. Is there something we can add to increase the safety and decrease the chances of this happening again? Thanks.

Helpful Expert Reply:
Leaf springs typically break because they are being overloaded or the trailer is taken on really rough terrain that stresses them to fail early. I would recommend going with springs that are rated for at least the total weight of the trailer when loaded and that would be best way to prevent future problems with the springs.
I attached a link to this page that will take you to all of the leaf springs we carry.
