Troubleshooting Curt 56420 T-Connector Not Working When Plugged Into 2019 Hyundai Santa Fe Connector
Question:
I have 2 Curt 56420 harnesses that are not working with a 2019 Hyundai Santa Fe SEL Original harness worked ~6 weeks ago, stopped working yesterday. On the 4 pin side, Im measuring ,04 Volts on all 3 terminals to ground. Inline fuse is ok Replacement harness measures the same thing,and fuse is ok. Since this is a powered item, Im guessing that the the +12v or ground from the Vehicles harness is the culprit, have yet to crawl under and measure that, but it looks clean. Is there a fuse to check?

First you will want to contact your Hyundai dealer as the factory trailer connector the Curt 56420 T-Connector Vehicle Wiring Harness # CU94FR connects too has a recall on your 2019 Hyundai Santa Fe. If your harness is not part of the recall there is a 30-amp fuse in the engine compartment fuse panel marked Trailer you will want to check.
