Weight Distribution System to Use with Rockwood Roo 233S
Question:
I am working on getting a new travel trailer and tow vehicle. I am interested in getting the equalizer hitch system. I am going to buy a Rockwood Roo 233S and a Suburban. I am struggling to find a suburban but I am going to use my truck to tow in the meantime. So here are my questions. 1. How hard is the equalizer to install myself? 2. My truck is a 2019 F350 4wd dually longbed. What kind of hitch would I need temporarily to tow the Roo 233S? I am assuming it does not need the equalizer, but double checking. Thanks for your help?

I looked up the tongue weight of the Rockwood Roo 233S and for a weight distribution system that would work great with it's 500 lb dry tongue weight we have the Reese Pro Round Bar System part # RE94FR which has a tongue weight range of 400-800 lbs. Install is not bad at all and something you could definitely pull off.
Now to your question about whether or not you need a WD system...it's not going to hurt anything if you do use one, but your truck would not need one.
