How to Add a Hinge Coupler to a 2-1/2 Inch Wide Trailer Tongue
Question:
Im trying to figure out what size folding trailer tongue to get. My trailer appears to be 2.5 inches, is this a 2 inch?

Thanks for the picture. Since your tongue is 2-1/2" wide you will have to use a 3" by 3" coupler hinge kit like item # FHDPB330301, you were looking at. You will need to have two 1/2" spacers welded on the 2-1/2" side of your pole tongue so that it's spaced out properly. You will want to make sure they go back 3" on each side.
