Is the Mopar Flat-Tow Wiring Harness Required for a 2015 Jeep Cherokee Trailhawk

I have a 2015 Jeep Cherokee Trailhawk, VIN 1C4PJMBS3FW717130, and wonder if I need the Mopar steering flat tow harness. Thanks,

I checked the owner's manual for a 2015 Jeep Cherokee, it does show that the Mopar Flat-Tow Wiring Harness is required. In addition to this, you'll need a base plate kit, tow bar, safety cables, flat-tow wiring harness (different than the Mopar Flat-Tow Wiring Harness), and a supplemental braking system. I have attached a list of these components for you below.
