Replacement Axle and Tire/Wheel Combo for 1969 Boat Trailer with 5.70-8 Tires
Question:
Hi I have a 1969 boat trailer. I am looking for a tire and rim but it looks like the diagonal is 3 3/4 not 4. The tire is 5.7-8. Do you have this item or know where I can get one? Thank you

If the axle, spindle, and hub is original on your 1969 boat trailer then it likely has an outdated bolt pattern since you're not measuring 4" across center to center, and is why you're having issues finding something that works.
Since it's unlikely that you'll find something compatible it would be easiest to replace the axle and go from there. We have some standard fitments in the linked selection but you also might be interested in our Timbren Axle-Less Trailer Suspension kits like part # A20RS440 which comes with a idler hub that has the 4 on 4" bolt pattern and rubber springs for suspension instead of the industry standard leaf springs.
Then for a replacement tire/wheel combo we have the Kenda 5.70-8 Bias Trailer Tire with 8" White Wheel # AM30153 with a matching bolt pattern and load range of D (1,075 lbs at 100 psi).
I've attached videos of both products for you to check out.
