Replacement Fold Down Step Recommendation for a 2000 Ragen SS2400 Toyhauler
Question:
Looking to replace steps on our 2000 Ragen SS2400 Toyhauler. Door width frame to frame is 29.5. Door flange to flange is 28.5. Ground height is approx. 31.5. Threshold lip is 1/2. We have been unable to find manuel steps to replace the current rusted 2 step system that is way too high to be comfortable as our mounting bracket is only 25.5. Im also afraid that screen door wont close if we install a solid step as there is virtually little to no clearance from the existing screen door to the current door threshold when closed. Im also unsure if we should go with the 26 inch or 30 inch width if we are able to convert to a solid step system. Thanks for any help you can give us!

The best steps to fit the specs you gave me is for the SolidStep 3 Step kit:
- Lippert SolidStep RV Steps for 29" to 36" Wide Doorways - 3 Steps # LC791573
This step is compatible with the ground height and door frame measurements you gave me and then for the threshold you need a gap of about 1/4" to 3/8" from the threshold plate to the bottom of the door to allow it to fit properly.
