Spare Tire Mount Bike Rack That is Rated For RV Use

Im disappointed that this spare tire mount is not recommended for RVs. Is there a reason why, or a different model that I could mount on the spare tire that is attached to the hitch on the rear of my trailer?

The good news is that I have an alternate option that will work on RV's. But the reason the Hollywood Racks SR1 2-Bike Carrier - Spare Tire Mount # HRSR1 is not rated for RV use is because that provides additional testing that is required.
The movements and stress put on a bike rack are different behind an RV, versus a vehicle. Because of this, there are additional test that need to be performed and passed to be certified for use with an RV. The Hollywood Racks SR1 2-Bike Carrier - Spare Tire Mount # HRSR1 either wasn't put through those test, or did not qualify after the test were conducted.
But luckily, the Rhino-Rack 2 Bike Carrier - Spare Tire Mount # RR64QH is RV rated and still provides that spare tire mount style you are needing.
