how do i know which dexter capasity rated axle i have by the serial # which is 153355647 and the ID tag is rubed off so cant rear it. I need replacement brakes and hubs thank you

I reached out to Dexter and based on that serial number you have a 5,000lb capacity.

For replacement brakes and hubs you're going to need the following parts:

Brake assemblies # AKEBRK-7-SA

Hub and Drum assemblies # AKHD-655-6-EZ-K.

For a 6k rated trailer axle like you have that has a 6 on 5-1/2 inch bolt pattern you'd want the Easy Grease Trailer Hub part #AKHD-655-6-EZ-K for a really easy replacement as it comes pre-greased and ready to install.
