How to Determine Hub

Question:

I have a EZ load trailer with spindle size 1 3/8 x 11/6. 15 tires on 6 x 5.5 studs. Do you have anything that works with that. Boat load is about 4500 pounds.

That's not enough information to find the hub, and in particular the spindle, as you have to be much, much more specific. To find the right hub, you need to know your bearing numbers and axle capacity. To find this you will need to take apart your current hub assembly and look at the bearings themselves; wipe away the grease and you should be able to see the part number stamped directly on them.

If you are unable to find them, you need to use a digital caliper measure your spindle to the thousandths of an inch where the bearings ride, like in the photo I added.

For example, if you have a 3,500 lb axle and your inner bearing is L68149 (1.378" inner diameter) and outer bearing is L44649 (1.063" inner diameter) you would use hub # AKIHUB-655-35-EZ-K.

I have added a link below to our entire selection of hubs for you once you find this info
