Parts Needed To Filter Out Turn Signal On Center Tail Light On Vintage Camper
Question:
I have a vintage camp trailer . It has two tail lights and a center tail light that lights the license plate as well. Id I got a four way light from you guys. Id like to have it as a tail light and additional brake light. Can I separate out the blinker aspect of it? As its in the center of the trailer.

Expert Reply:
You can separate out the blinker so your center light only works with the brakes and running lights. What you need is the Curt 2 to 3 Wire Tail Light Converter # C56196. The yellow wire will tap into the combined left turn/brake wire and the green taps into the right turn/brake. On the output side you will run the red wire to the light, and the running wire will bypass the converter.
