Converter For Separating Turn Signals on Trailer From Combined Tail Lights on Truck
Question:
I own a Chevy 3500hd with red turn and stop and a Heartland 365 and I have midships turn lights to go on.. so which converter do I need to complete this mod. I am thinking to mount a converter in the box at the pin and run two wires to sides do I tap into the green and yellow yes?

You are correct, and what you will need to separate the turn signals on your trailer from the combined turn/brake lights on your truck is a 2-to-3 converter:
- Curt 2-to-3 Wire Tail Light Converter # C56196
The two wires are in fact the green and yellow wires, which will separate out the turn signals so you will run those to your midship turn lights.
