Can I Transfer My Demco Air Force One From My Class A Motorhome To A Class C Motorhome

Question:

I flat tow my 61Ranchero behind my class A motor home using AFO breaking system. Will AFO still work if I downgrade to a Mercedes Sprinter class C rv? If so , what will I need for the class C?

The Demco Air Force One Supplemental Braking System for Motor Homes with Air Brakes # SM99243 is only compatible with motorhomes that have air brakes so the new motorhome would need to have air brakes for you to transfer the system over.

Most Class C motorhomes are not equipped with air brakes so you would need to use the Towed Car Conversion Kit - Demco SBS Air Force One to Stay-IN-Play DUO Supplemental Braking System # SM99231 to be compatible with hydraulic brakes that the new motorhome would most likely have. This kit includes all the parts you'll need to switch from the AFO to Demco's Stay-In-Play system.
