Does the Prodigy RF Remain Paired If Power Is Removed from Handheld Unit or Trailer

After each stop itll get disconnected no power on cigarette lither. Do I need to pair it up again ?

I spoke with my contact at Tekonsha and he verified that if you were to remove power from either the handheld unit or trailer, the Prodigy RF, # TK94FR, will remain paired. You will not have to pair it every time you turn off the vehicle. I have included a link to the isntallation details and a link to a video showing a typical installation for you.
