I recommend using the BoatBuckle Heavy Duty Ratchet Transom Tie-Down Straps in either a 2' # IMF14206 4' # IMF14207 or 6' # IMF14208. You will want to find the appropriate length depending on your boat and trailer. These straps are all rated for 833lbs working load. With boat trailers and straps it is important to remember you are securing a heavy object to a lighter object. So with your boat weighing 2,000lbs your trailer is most likely around 500lbs which is well within the weight rating for these straps. If your trailer is heavier do remember you have the weight rating for the tower winch which also adds capacity to secure your boat and trailer together.
