Where Does Small Pin Install on Reese 5th Wheel Hitch RP30051
Question:
The Reese 5th wheel hitch kit RP30051 and the rail kit RP50066-58 comes with all of the hardware need but I have a black roll pin and I cannot find in the instructions where it is supposed to go. Any help would be appreciated.

The pin you're talking about looks to be the indicator to let you know when the arm of the Reese 5th Wheel Hitch is in a towing or maneuvering position (see attached photo). You will install the indicator pin in the arm so that it just goes through the bottom side of that arm. In addition to the parts you already have I recommend picking up some in-bed wiring to make your trailer wiring connections easier. This means you'll be using the following parts for your 2017 GMC Sierra 2500 towing setup:
Reese 5th Wheel Hitch - # RP30051
Base Rail Kit - # RP50066-58
In-Bed Wiring - # PK11893-11932
