Using Trailer Tires on 2003 EZGO TXT Electric Golf Cart

Question:

I use my golf cart on asphalt every day for about 3 miles. Will this tire and the 4x4 bolt pattern work on my lifted golf cart? 2003 ezgo txt electric golf cart. What is the actual diameter? Height for the 205/65-10? Should be about 20.5 inches.

According to my contact at our local golf cart dealer, you can indeed use a 205/65-10 trailer tire on your golf cart. Your cart should use a 4 on 4 bolt pattern, but I would recommend measuring to be sure it matches your existing wheels. The article I have linked you to shows how to take that measurement.

The 205/65-10 tires used on the # AM3H330 wheel/tire combo will measure right at 20.8 inches tall (or in diameter). The section width (width of tread) is 8.3 inches. It sounds like these will be about .3 of an inch taller than what you mentioned, which should not make much of a difference.

Each tire/wheel has a 910 lb weight capacity, which will be more than enough for your golf cart.
