Replacement Propane Regualtor for a 2022 Forest River Rockwood Geo Pro 20BHS

Question:

Hello, I have a 2022 Rockwood Geopro 20BHS and im looking to replace the propane regulator due to it is not automatically changing over. It currently has the Cavagna 924N regulator on it and according to websites it is rated for 160,000 BTU. Would this propane regulator work JR Products Compact Automatic Changeover 2-Stage Propane Regulator #37207-31525? I see it is rated for 262,500 BTUs. Would having a higher rated regulater cause any issues or cause us to go through propane faster? Thank you

Yes, you will be able to use the JR Products Compact Automatic Changeover 2-Stage Propane Regulator # 37207-31525 in place of the Cavagna 924N regulator. Both these regulators will put out the same amount of pressure to your appliances and as you are not adding appliances it will not affect how quickly you go through propane. As it has the higher 262,500btu rating it will flow more propane than your current regulator but has the same amount of pressure.

I recommend replacing your pigtail hoses with the GasGear 90-Degree Propane Hose # GS47FR. These are stainless steel braded for increased life and with have the 90-degree connector remove the stress put on your basic rubber lines.
