Will Switching to the Compact Version of the Automatic Changeover LP Gas Regulator Have Any Impacts

Question:

I replaced my LP Gas regulator on my RV. When dismantling I noticed that I hadnt bought the exact same one. My old one was 37207-30395 and the new one is 37207-31325. What impact will this have because all my appliances seems to be working fine ?

The simple answer is that you should not experience any impact. All of your appliances will continue to work fine.

Both the Automatic Changeover RV LP Gas Regulator # 37207-30395 you had and the Compact Low Pressure 2-Stage Automatic Changeover RV LP Gas Regulator # 37207-31525 you now have are 2-stage, automatic changeover regulators. They will perform in the same way.

There are essentially 2 differences. Those would be the size and BTU rating.

The Automatic Changeover RV LP Gas Regulator # 37207-30395 is slightly larger and has a BTU rating of 345,000.

The Compact Low Pressure 2-Stage Automatic Changeover RV LP Gas Regulator # 37207-31525 is more compact and has a BTU rating of 262,500.

If you have a lot of appliances using the propane then the higher BTU rating may be important, but if everything is working fine then it sounds like you are good to go with the more compact regulator.
