Why is this unit not recommended for use in a school bus?

The Advent Air RV Air Conditioner # ACM150 is not recommended for use in a school bus because the Advent Air models are designed specifically for RVs. This is because of the suspension and housings that RV's have. This does not mean that customers don't often use them for alternative applications with success. But because of the copper pipes in the unit there is a higher risk of them breaking when mounted to a more rigid surface like what would be on your bus. If this were to happen it would cause coolant to leak and essentially make the unit inoperable.

While some other units like the Furrion Chill HE RV Air Conditioner System # FR92PR do not specifically list not to use the unit with a school bus, you would still be running the same risk and they do mention numerous times to only use it as designed (which is for use with RV's).
