i can not pull the plug out of switch

If the Pin # HM20051 will not remove easily(approximately 20-30lbs of force) from the Breakaway Switch # HM20010 it will most likely need to be replaced. As the pin is made of plastic is most likely to break trying to remove from the housing. Even if you are able to get the pin out the retainer inside the switch is likely damaged and could cause the brakes to activate when the trailer is connected.
