Recommended Base Plate Kit and Flat Towing Parts for a 2023 Chevy Equinox LT

Will the RM -52313-5 work on a 2023 Equinox LT. Dealer says all of the Equinox family have shutters Also will the riw plate on my 15 Equinox fit the 2023 ?

I checked with Roadmaster and the only base plate kit with removable arms for the 2023 Equinox is the one you were looking at item # RM-523193-5. The only other option is item # RM-523193-4 which is a crossbar style baseplate. There is nothing in their system or ours that has the model number you provided fitting a 2023 Equinox.

You will be required to trim some of the shutters to install a base plate kit. I have linked an installation video below. I don't know what an riw plate is and have never heard that term used before. If you would like to email me back with a description of the part I would be happy to help you.

High Low Adapter - The tow bar needs to be within 3" of level. If you measure the height of the inside top of the hitch receiver tube on your RV, and the height difference is more than 3 inches above/below the base plate tab height, you'll need a high/low adapter.
