Recommended Flat Towing Components For A 2012 Jeep Wrangler

I have a 2019 Fleetwood Bounder and want to flat tow a 2012 jeep wrangler. What do I need to buy do do this? I would like a Blue OX system. Thank You

To tow a 2012 Jeep Wrangler behind your 2019 Fleetwood Bounder you'll need the following components:
Baseplate: Blue Ox Base Plate Kit # BX1126. This baseplate is designed for a factory bumper, if you have a specialty or aftermarket then I'll need to know what it is to find the correct fitting baseplate.
Tow Bar: Blue Ox Alpha 2 Non-Binding Tow Bar # BX7380. This tow bar comes with safety cables included so you won't need to purchase them separately.
Tow Bar Wiring: I see you were looking at the # BLU79FR, this wiring harness is not a fit for a 2012 Jeep Wrangler and we don't currently carry the correct one. Even if we did I would HIGHLY recommend not using any plug-in kits, no matter the brands, as they tend fail rather quickly. You shouldn't go through the hassle of routing the wiring harness in to have to completely redo it all again in a year or two.
Instead I recommend the Roadmaster Diode 7-Wire to 6-Wire Flexo-Coil Wiring Kit # RM-15267. This splice-in diode wiring will be a one-time install and provide you with a 7-pole to 6-pole cable. Having this instead of the simple 4-pole connector from the EZ light kit will allow you to also install a charge line kit # RM-156-25 to keep your Jeep's battery charged while you tow.
Braking System: Blue Ox Patriot # BLU37TR. This portable braking system is super easy to setup but will require that you install a direct line to the battery for power. You'll need part # RM-9332.
You may also need a high low adapter to keep your tow bar level between the Jeep and motorhome. I've attached our guide on adapters to help you determine the correct one for your needs. I've also attached installation videos for these products below to help walk you through the installation process if you choose to do it yourself.
